Recognizing the importance of collaboration and expertise, Larry partnered with Michael Knoblauch, a move that combined their skills and ambitions to form Higgins-Knoblauch Drywall Systems. This partnership was a significant milestone in Larry’s career, but his vision extended beyond this collaboration. Larry’s ambition and strategic thinking eventually led him to buy out Knoblauch, transforming the company into Drywall Systems. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter, where Larry could fully implement his vision of a company built on integrity, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. Under his leadership, Drywall Systems grew, earning a reputation for quality and reliability.

In 2021, reflecting the company’s growth and diversification, the name was changed to Higgins Group, Inc.
