At the age of twenty-six, Larry’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own drywall company. Recognizing the importance of collaboration and expertise, Larry partnered with Michael Knoblauch, a move that combined their skills and ambitions to form Higgins-Knoblauch Drywall Systems. Larry’s ambition and strategic thinking eventually led him to acquire full ownership, transforming the company into Drywall Systems. In 2021, reflecting the company’s growth and diversification, the name was changed to Higgins Group, Inc.
